Software Legend Microsoft is facing a tough competition from Google. Even though Google search engine is the best search engine among the other, their Chrome web browser is not as popular as Mozilla Firefox. Now Google announced that they are starting a new project Google Chrome OS for PCs. They revealed about Google Chrome OS in their Blog. According to Google Blog Google Chrome OS is an open source, lightweight operating system that will initially be targeted at notebooks. Later this year we will open-source its code, and notebooks running Google Chrome OS will be available for consumers in the second half of 2010. Google Chrome OS is a windowing system based on Linux kernel. Chrome Operating System works on both x86 as well x64. So you can download Google Chrome OS Code later this year.
